I have swap magic 3.6 and have had it for about a year. I have successfully botted one of the custom gh2 discs and it worked. i went back into ghex and put in more songs and burned them onto a different disc. However, this time when i try to play the songs, sometimes you can't hear the guitar, and sometimes it stops and then starts again and gets all wierd. the swap magic is successfully playing legit games. what can be causing my problem? thanks

Has nothing to do with SM. It's called a bad burn. Try again, optionally using better media.

Riz.

Try a different variant (- instead of +) or try burning at a different speed. I burn at 8x, but it some people have better luck with 4, 2, or even 1x speeds.

Burn at a slower speed. Make sure the disc isn't scratched up and you're using a good burner. Alcohol 120% works wonders for me.

Music is like candy, you throw out the (w)rappers.
People who rap aren't rappers, they're rap-ists, y'know, like art-ists. Which looks suspiciously like the word "rapist".

I use, DVD-R Sony brand, burning at 4X speed. I've never had a burn fail me once, and I've burned alot of times. Try this, it might help.

That sounds like your answer - you're doing everything else right. I've had bad burns and never been able to find out the reason - it's not worth your time trying to figure it out when you can spend 10 minutes burning a new working disc.

Use a CD lens cleaner on your PS2, or rub some alcohol on the lens with a q-tip. I've had problems with song studdering before and that seemed to help.
