(cross posted from Gameplay forum)

So I'm playing the opening of Laughtrack on Hard (the notes are the same on Expert though), and in the second star power, 90% of the time GH2 doesn't give me credit for hitting the blue note that starts the BYRY run. I hit that note every single other time that run shows up in the song, so that makes me think it's a glitch of some sorts in my game and not a screw-up on my part. I'm curious if this happens to anyone else.

Hm...I vaguely remember something like this happening to me...

I don't remember how I fixed it, but I must've, since I have the FC for it...have you tried holding down that blue only, strumming, then strumming out the rest of the notes in the sequence? That's an obvious answer, but...it's better than no answer at all.

I've actually been strumming all the notes in the sequence, not HO'ing it.

I think 2-1-2-2-1-1 is better. Yes, you can get an activation from the last SP phrase, though it's tough.

Good call. Landed me 5th, that last activation isn't that bad as it's about 8 beats of sustains. Just make sure to save the 3rd activation for the chords.
