Hey guys, it is going to take a while for me to make a 5* breakdown for GH3. At least a few weeks I'd say, leaving El Jefe Hunters and GH3 God status seekers with nowhere to turn. If you want to submit your own to me, PM me, and I'll post it here and give you credit for it if it holds up.

I'd post one sooner, but I need to play the songs a bit more first, before i can assess their difficulties.

thanks a bunch

(passing breakdowns removed--- just play on hard first if you cant pass expert)

Do you really find Crazy on You to be harder to 5-star than Gemini? I'm pretty sure I 5-starred CoY before I 4-starred Gemini. Just use SP in the verses.

It's about right, but my biggest comment wold be that Freebird, which I can 6-star, is higher than gemini, which I can barely 4-star. I'd personally slide Gemini down a few notches. See what some others think though.

it looks good but there's no way thunderhorse is that low and Instituitionalized and Hangar 18 are way easier than CMH and BATH in my opinion.

Mother is way too high. It should be in the first 15 at least. Sure you have to do well outside the solo, but it is super easy to do so. Also like you said, Psychobilly has no easy parts while Hangar 18 has the first half of the song.

First of all, kudos for this list. I've been thinking about doing something similar for a long time now, I think it's actually much more useful than an FC list, since most people in this forum are looking for five-star help.

I'm just gonna pluck the ones I have issues with.

31. Mother - This one's a little too high. I could see maybe 20-25 (I had trouble with it too) but once you figure out everything besides the solo, it's not bad at all.

36. War Pigs - A little too high as well. There's too much easy stuff here outside of the solos. Maybe 30-ish.

39. Tonight, I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight - Too high. I suck royally at the trills but I still hit everything else in the song and I can still six-star it. I'd put it around 20-25.

40. Less Talk More Rokk - Maybe I just suck at this song, but this was my 60th five-star on Expert. 60th!

43. - Fall of Pangea - Definitely not the 43rd hardest. Anyone who's five-starred it on Hard can five-star it on Expert, too. I'd move it down to 30-35.

53. Freebird - I think this one's easier than Freya, Gemini, and Thunderhorse. If you hit everything in the intro, you can get 140K or more, which essentially means you've got 1500 notes to get 200K. Not really that hard.

52. Gemini - Too low. I'd move it up to 57-60.

55. Rock This Town - Also too low. Maybe it's just me but I put more work into this song than any other song for my Log (and that includes everything in the last two tiers). A total bitch of a song. I'd probably put it right at 59-60.

I dunno I 5* Rock this Town pretty easily, Misirlou and Six should be last, Jordan isnt as hard to 5* as Misirlou.

PBFo is harder than H18.

Meh, mebbe. But I got CMH, BatH, and PF before I got RTT. I'm confident too that I could've gotten a few others before RTT if I'd played them as much (RTT's probably my favorite song to play, despite how frustrated I was getting because I couldn't five-star it for the life of me).

PBFO should be higher than Hangar 18. Trust me.

Both RTT and BatH should be higher than CMH, because CMH doesn't even require you to combo the riff.

Free Bird should be lower. 'Nuff said.

Thunderhorse, if anything, should be higher than Freya. Sure, Freya hurts, but galloping owns me.

Both YYZ and FTK should be a lot lower imo.

Thats enough from me for now

Couple of things here seem out of place for me:

Too low
Laid to Rest
Less Talk More Rokk
Thunderhorse
Rock This Town

Too high
Hangar 18
Institutionalized
Crazy on You
Woman

Again, just from my experiences, your mileage may vary.

NO OF PEOPLE, GET IT RIGHT

I always wanted to do that.

And FTK is a bit to far down. The fills are tough, yes, but you don't need to get much of them for the 5 star.

Okay I fixed a few things. I have been over the 5-star hump for a while and got out of touch with less experienced players. Thanks for your opinions. Now, the list is much better. Only ones I'm confused about now are Woman, Freebird, and PP(LL). I'll wait awhile to see mass opinion before I re-edit.
