Who else is gonna start GH3 on Hard?

Watching the final tier vids makes them look tough, but I reckon I could pass them with a bit of practice. I'll start on expert, then if I get stuck I'll drop down to Hard.

I'm not too worried about all the tri-chords. The only song in all of the GH series that gave me problems was WILAY so I think I can do all the spread Tri-Chords. I think I can button mash and alt. strum pretty well to just barely pass insane solos.

With that in mind, I'll start on Expert, get spanked and then go back to hard.

Well i've considered it but naah just for the fun i'm gonna start with expert and might get a few sightread Fcs if i'm lucky. Then if i screw it all up i do the other difficulties and smash the bosses totally!

I'm starting on Hard then going to Expert. I feel like this game will deliver and it should give me even more to do. I'll play Expert and save my expectations until after Hard.

I will definately give an attempt at going through it on expert. Possibly go through every song sightreading without failing (haha i'm joking) I will try my best to get through on expert, and if it proves to tough, hard will still be waiting for me ;)

I'm starting on Hard. There are enough songs that I'm unfamiliar with - as in, "I don't believe I have ever heard them before!" - and would appreciate at least some exposure to them before I wade into the deep end of the pool. Once I get through that, I'll get around to playing through Expert. (And working on Medium FCs, just for old time's sake.)

im starting on hard too, i always do. this way i get used to the songs so i can jump to expert with a little more knowledge in whats going on.
but this time around i might just go straight to online play

i'm doing the sightread on hard, then i'll give myself a break and play co-op with my wife on medium, then go to solo carreer expert

I'm totally starting on Hard. I am about to beat Freebird on Expert, so I figure I can handle Hard, even if GHIII .

I started on Easy way back when I got GH1 (still haven't beat Expert), started on Medium with GH2 (to which I still haven't beaten on Expert.), and yeah, I'll probably start on Hard with GH3.

Im sure ill hope straight to expert...Im not all that great ill 3 n 4 star a bunch just to beat it and then ill hop back to hard to get the blood flowing. haha

Hard first for serious play while simultaneously working my way through Expert now and then and Medium for FCs to relax.
