I got a Wired Les Paul :D

So I went to my local EB Games and started playing the interactive they have of Guitar Hero 3. I noticed the Les Paul was wired, and the best part is the neck wasn't detachable, so I offered the manager $30 for it and he sold it to me. This thing is nice, custom faceplate too. But what good is a story without pics?

thats awesome! the worst thing about the LP is that the neck is detachable, imo. thats where most of the problems have come from (problems that not even a heavy duty rubber band can solve)

only problem about this one is that the cable is really short. I have one too and I use it at work.

Anyway, very cool find. Odd that the neck isn't detachable though. I assume, then, that for that reason the controller doesn't experience any of the issues the wireless Les Paul sometimes does (dropping holds, for example)? Did he say when those are going on sale normally (if at all)?

I think the wired ones are only display models for stores as it is harder to steal a guitar if its wired. If its wireless while your playing if you notice noone is looking you could just walk out.

I think all Gamestops that have Les Pauls in the little kiosks have the wired ones. it only makes so much sense. Now getting a manager to sell me it, theres the part i applaud you for.
