I found that 3-2-2-2 is ever so slightly better (on paper anyways). Here are my activation points:
3 - 1st Yellow
2 - 3rd Green
2 - 6th Green
2 - 3rd Yellow
Suggestions are welcome,

Thanks Will. That path got me 112,432 with a few minor tweaks.
It requires ridiculous short whammy's and some pretty decent squeezing to pull off but it works.
Just move your 2nd activation to the note before the 3rd green, if you whammy enough and squeeze you can still get all the notes in before the next SP. And then move the 3rd activation to the short yellow hold before the 6th green. Again, with enough whammy you will finish in a red sustain.
Then the last squeeze is a nasty one, but with enough whammy and a good squeeze you can make it to the last note, BARELY! _________________

3 - 1Y
2 - 3R
2 - 4Y
2 - 3Y
Like Samson said, this is really pushing the limits. It is only better than Will's if you can build up enough SP to squeeze the same notes after moving back the 2nd and 3rd activations. I can't. |

actually, activating 1.25 beats into the 1st y (NN) on the last activation is worth roughly 300 more points
This is because with a x1 multiplier on a single-note sustain, you get the base points (50) + 25 pts per beat.
So, you get 4 notes (200) + 6.25 beats of sustains (156.25) activating on the 1.25 beats into NN.
Activating on the 3rd Y gets you 6 notes(300) + .75 beats of sustain(18.75)
When you do all the math...
(200+156.25)*8=(1600+1250)=2850 pts <--1.25 beats into nn
(300+18.75)*8=(2400+150)=2550 pts <-- 3 Y

The above is based on excess starpower from the yellow in m119 to the red in m123 |
