I thought I found the perfect path, but after 2 dozen failed attempts at hitting it, I just don't think it's possible anymore....
2 - 5th yellow (the hold before the RY)
2 - instant
*this is where it gets weird*
2 - DON'T WHAMMY Phrases 5 & 6, BS last note in 6, instant activation
Hold off as long as possible before hitting first note in Phrase 7
2 - instant
2 - first note after break
2 - 2nd green
take a wild guess where i had so much trouble.... lol
it SEEMS possible, i just can't squeeze/activate quick enough to nail it.
Otherwise, the path I did take to get 5th on 360 was
2 - 5th yellow (the hold before the RY)
2 - instant
2 - whammy phrases 5 & 6, instant
2 - instant
3 - instant
getting you 11/12 SP. (missing the 7th, in the 3rd activation)
Has anyone out there been able to hit the first path I listed? Cause I sure as hell have given up on it... LOL

Yep, the note chart indicates it's possible, and I can confirm that you CAN hit it (2nd try) but you need to hit the last note of SP6 very early before immediate activation in order to get it, as I believe you get slightly more leeway on hitting notes early as opposed to hiting them late. Not sure it's quite the optimal path as got me 116,582 but I may have missed some squeezes

Yeah, that 'anti-squeeze' is pretty hard to hit, but I got it on the 3rd or 4th try. I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be possible in the GH1 or 2 engines, since I don't think you could activate as soon after getting SP as you can on GH3.

Just to clarify for anyone who got confused (such as me), replace instant with next note. Instant ends up cutting you short a lot of squeeze points. |

what i do is right when i hit the last note of phrase 6, press select. it works most of the time for me.
