How to Stop Lag In GH3 for PC!!!!

Alright, everyone is asking and having problems about their fretboard lagging when they play a song. This is a tutorial on how to make that lag stop by making the backgroundblack when you play a song.

1. Go to C:\(wherever you installed GH3)\Aspyr\Guitar Hero III\DATA\ZONES and copy these files to another folder. (For Backup)

2.Then create a text file in the DATA\ZONES folder and put this in it:

3. Save it and rename the .txt file to a .bat file and run it.

A command prompt window should flash once for a split second. There you have it. Now all lag should be gone and the background while playing a song should be black.

I'm not sure if this works for Windows Vista as I have XP 2005.

NOTE: Only works with version 1.0

This thread has been around for a long time... And in fact already has this information and more, plus has the .bat file you're describing already available as a small program.

Are you sure you didn't... Read this here, forget about it, then suddenly remember and try to share it?
