Hi, thinkin' of buying a ps2-usb adapter and i want to know if it matters wich adapter i chose, or are all adapters compatible with DS2 compatible with the GH-controller as well? |

First, it's worth noting that the SG is actually a PS1 controller based device. That said, most, if not all, PS2 to USB adapters will certainly recognize all of the buttons, and the strum bar. The whammy bar is another matter, however. Both the hardware in the adapter, (must support putting the controller into analog mode instead of digital mode, where it will start by default) and the driver, must recognize the whammy bar as an analog stick, and a great many of them, especially the cheaper models, do not. That's the feature you'd want to look at any product descriptions for... supports analog mode.

I tried to get one on Play-Asia.
They sent me the Xbox to USB...
Should be a good one though. |
