Yes I've searched and made a few coasters so far but I am out of ideas. I'm trying to get BatM in GH2 practice mode slowed down. What I have now does work in full speed. Maybe if I explain what I've done someone could point out where I'm going wrong...
I open up my BatM mp3 in Audacity and change the pitch, for replacing the 85% vgs I changed the pitch up 117.64% (1/.85)?
Saved the mp3 and imported to the _p85.vgs using ghex.
Now I built the disk as normal but the practice song at slow speed freezes on the loading screen, works fine at full speed. Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

We arent exactly sure how the game engine uses the practice mode VGS files yet. My only guess is that it is dependant on the bitrate of the song (bitrate? not sure if thats the correct term for it or not).
What I mean by this is, 44.1khz, 22kz, 12.5khz ..... or however those values are done. _________________

Well, finally got my BatM running slower in practice mode. Let me try a few more things and I'll make a how-to if its needed. |

I think a guide tailored specifically for practice mode would be somewhat useful, because as of right now it seems like there's no definitive answers on getting it to work... what'd you have to do differently to get it working for BatM? |
