I really need to try out this game - I nearly bought it at my local game store last week, but decided that I really shouldn't spend the $40 on luxuries like video games for now (so sad - before i bought my home $40 was chump change - stupid adulthood )
SO, pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is pop'n'music anyhow, and how does it differ from Beatmania? |

Not much at all, except 9 buttons instead of 8 including the turntable and a different layout. _________________

I picked the beatmania game and controller at Walmart (Ancaster Ontario) for $28 cdn. Might be the price for all of Ontario. Anyone interested should grab it at that price. _________________

I just started playing and am finding it hard to get perfect hits. It's lots different than Guitar Hero. Any advice on how to play, position hands and fingers or such? _________________

And it takes forever to get better, aside from practicing. Talking about that, I need to play more... _________________
