Season 7 information Thread! - Starts Nov 25th!

Since the only season which involved GH80's had no twists, why don't we have a short, silly "Twists only" GH80's competition before GH3 comes out? With permission from the league moderators, I will start a thread in this forum and run the tournament myself.

I imagine I would run it similarly to how playoffs are run, with a score due every 2-3 days, except there would be no elimination. Each player would have an opponent each round, and each round you would be matched up against a player who has the same number of wins as you do.

I think it's worth a shot. It would be fun.

Any chance of still having GH2 leagues? I'll do a GH3 league for sure, but I want another try at a GH2 league championship.

On an irrelevant topic, just wondering, how are playoff songs selected? Is it also random or are they hand picked?

EDIT: Are the four consoles going to be in the same league?

What about the people that have to wait till NOVEMBER 22nd for GH3?? Its ages away. You'd be better off waiting till after then for a GH3 league... You'd get more players that way ¬_¬

Hey, I think thats the best decision. I'm just going to voice a concern for S7.

First some good news. My wrist that prevented me from competing in S6 is 100% healed, and with the delay, I'll be 100% for S7!

Now, as I'm sure everyone knows, GH3 will be on a grand total of 6 systems. Now I'm sure that there will be NO interest in a Mac League, and limited interest in a PC league. But still, with 4 systems, and all of the divisions, how are you planning on pulling that out? Since all of the systems are being released at the same time, there is a chance that the note charts will be the same, but that wouldn't be prooveable for possibly a few weeks after the release. I'd be happy to help out behind the scenes if you guys need me.

I like the idea of waiting. Although, I won't be able to get in on Leagues until January or so

As another vote...I vote against having "Twists". I wanna play the song to the best of my ability instead of trying to get a low score...or something else that does me no good.

Aww, I wish I couldv'e been in a GH2 league before number 3 came out, but whatever. It'll be fun nonetheless. Hopefully I can kick just as much ass in GH3.

i like the fact that there will be a 2 week break after gh3 comes out. gives me time to enjoy the songs of gh3 before i try to perfect them and play them so much it gets annoying.

are you ever going to be bring the PS2 version of GH2 leagues back or are they a thing of the past?
