Also, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for NES (not the Arcade games, the first one) was really hard!

I eventually used my Game Genie to get through that one... I have NO idea how anybody was supposed to beat that game otherwise. I had infinite Scrolls and STILL got the everloving crap beat out of me.

Oh, and I was ass at Battletoads.

My first games were either Donkey Kong or Donkey Kong, Jr.

On consoles... I can't remember the game's name, it was a chopper game on Master System, you had to shoot the doors of "prisons", land the chopper (while it's "facing" the player instead of the edge of the screen) and carry the prisoners to safety. Could have been Choplifter.

On a "computer" (C64) I think it was Operation Wolf.

It was either Choplifter or close enough that it doesn't make a difference.

Well, I had a game called NBA Shootout for the PS1, but that was about it. What system was NBA Jam for?

First of all, I still have NBA Shootout, and I won too much cause all I would do is stand there when the other team passed it in, steal it, and then dunk it into the wide open net. They don't make bball games that easy anymore.

Secondly, NBA Jam and NBA Jam TE were awesome, and I used to play them like every day. Especially in TE when you could get the 'D' icon and dunk from the other side of the court... "The nail in the coffin!" "He's on fire!!!"

NBA Jam was an extremely popular arcade-game (if you know Open Ice, this is similar) that eventually found its way to SNES. I don't remember all the versions there were apart from the original and Tournament Edition (which was also released on GameBoy if I'm not terribly mistaken).

[Edit:] Feh, damned forum-surfing took a lot of time... >_>

I used to be so good at NBA jam, I could crank the difficulty all the way up and still blow the computer completely out of the water. My brother and I still have a legendary NBA jam rivalry. The church he goes to has a machine on free play.

NBA Jam TE was amazing.

I used to play on XBand and was ranked 1st place for months. I had so many tricks in that game, I'd get my opponent trapped in a corner and repeatdly shake my shoulders. They just keep bouncing up and down getting hit and can't do anything until I've got 25 injuries on them. Then they walk so slow I'd run circles around them making them feel useless.

Also once I got "on fire" I was literally impossible to beat. I once shutout the 5th ranked player because I happened to get the first three baskets.

We should breakout some NBA Jam at Matt's for fun.

After that story, I don't think I want to. *shudders*
Haha. Mr. Green

HAH! XD

I never really got into any basketball games sadly...including Jam. Maybe it was just before my time of actually being interested in video games.
