Because I like this place, I took the link down.
But, can you guys not make such a big deal over my sense of humor? It's sick, yes, but some people have sick senses of humor.

Get that **** off here... do you have the mental capacity of a five year old really... all of your recent posts have been not humorous and they reflect a very negative and careless personality for your sake... I suggest you stop posting stuff like that... before one of the mods get to you and get even more pissed than I am....

Coupled with your siggy, this passage leads to epic lulz.
Quit getting so goddamned butthurt. And learn some grammar, dammit.

Do you really have nothing better to do than flame his grammar. I mean really.
Anyways, they probably should have only let him use the Xbox on weekends on something so it wouldn't interfere with his schoolwork. But too late now.

Parents need to realize that taking something way and letting the child progress from that is very wrong and could in turn end up like how the story resulted. Now a better way would be to lessen his time and restrict xbox use and allow him to do homework, chores, and other daily activites and then let him play. Sure, it takes effort but being a parents demands effort.

Kids need to realize that video games are unneccesary

Sure they are unneccesary, but so is for example. bowling, guitar, posting on an internet forum . Kids tend to buy things based on fun it is not how educational or nessecary it is.

All parents were children at one point. They are not an alien breed that is studying you.

Also, pointing at one outlier and implying that restricting video game use leads to death is absurd. This was a freak accident caused by the kid making a bad decision while upset. Guess what, kids get upset at their parents a lot. They run away for tons of idiotic reasons. Sometimes, there will be tragedy that results. Other times, they will return home safely after finishing their dramatic acting out. It doesn't take long to realize that not having food in your stomach, a roof over your head, and a bed to sleep on sucks. It just so happens this kid had a fatal accident before he could return home.

Leave it to the anonymity of the internet to bring out the worst in people. This thread went downhill, locking it before it drags ScoreHero further into Hell.
