If anything this should excite you, the more the music industry makes a profit off this... the more doors open for music to go into the game. If new singles are getting put out that you don't like, you can always skip buying the DLC. |
That's not quite the point, though.
Guitar Hero has always been - and should always be - a game first and a marketing tool a very distant second. Brand new singles as DLC seem contradictory to this (see also Violet Hill), and I'm dismayed that Neversoft is taking the first step down the slippery slope of, essentially, being used as a promotional tool. Don't get me wrong, I completely expected it, and I knew it was going to happen sooner or later - I just hoped it would be much later.

Thank God I still have some MS points. This will definitely be my favorite DLC pack so far, so I didn't think the GH2 indie pack would ge beaten. Thank you, Neversoft!
