I really thought that Green Day's American Idiot was a total epic. Plus, its a concept album too. From the soft ending of Wake Me Up When September Ends into the long epic 9 minute Homecoming, and to finish it off perfectly with Whatsername. I really like that album _________________

Coheed and Cambria, any album. The whole series is based on a series of comic books, and each album tells of a different part. _________________

To go along with all the Floyd that's already been mentioned (as well as Mellon Collie), Local H's Pack Up The Cats has always been one of my all time favorite "concept" albums
Check it out, pure win.....AND THERE'S COWBELL!
