Holy shitballs...

I've been a fan of this band for a few years, and out of interest I decided to do a youtube search on them to see what they're up to...

Quite a lot it seems - they've just won the semi-finals of the Norwegian Eurovision tournament - if they win the finals, they'll end up being Norways official 2010 representatives for the overall Eurovision contest.

Here's a link to the video

Although this song is tremendously poppy compared to their other stuff, it's still pretty catchy - now the cries of "sellout" will ensue from the tr00 black metal community.

Hopefully this is of interest to some people - I should probably have posted it in the metal thread, but I thought it was newsworthy enough to warrant its own topic!!!

Now that would be a sight!

I saw this a few weeks ago. Figures we'd get more rock and metal involved after Lordi won it. I don't particularly have a problem with it, largely because I couldn't give an airborne crap about Eurovision, but no doubt purists (of both Eurovision and tr00 kvlt metal) are wringing their hands in fury.

As for the song: I'll surprise everyone by saying 'not my thing'.

Anyone else think they vaguely resembled Dethklok minus Pickles?
