Important Tournament Question - Which Guitar Hero Game?

So there's the dutch nationals coming up for Guitar Hero (not the WCG dutch nationals, mind you) and they were gonna use GH:WT... which is a really bad idea so I emailed the dude that runs it and said it was a bad idea. Now I need to tell them which GH game to use, and I though ScoreHero would definitely know what's best. I narrowed it down to the following:

Guitar Hero 2 (hard engine, great for competition)
Guitar Hero 3 (this is obvious)
Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits/Smash Hits (I think it's pretty underrated, it has a very solid engine and it has the hard songs for a good tournament, plus it's something different for a change)
Guitar Hero 5 (bad setlist, but everyone can choose their own hyperspeed)

I'm assuming that for 2, 3 and Smash Hits, hyperspeed should be on 2 (that's what they use for the WCG, right?)

So, ScoreHero, please help me decide...

He told me to make the rules, so here's my idea :

Game : Guitar Hero Smash Hits

1versus 1

Hyperspeed 2

Instrument : Expert Guitar ( ofcourse )
system : xbox360

first : pool rounds,
after that : elimination rounds ( best of 3 matches )

If you're doing PFO WCG uses HS 1 by default. I say either GH3 or GH5 cause it's the newest.

I would do GH2 or GH3. GH2 has the largest selection of songs that are challenging enough throughout to actually fairly decide a clear cut winner. GH3 has... well TTFAF, and a few others. None of the other games will be any good at deciding who's better. Well, maybe smash hits if you only play play with and TTFAF (...and maybe free bird)
