This is the ninth and final song on the yet-to-be-named, deathcore concept album I wrote a few weeks ago. It's a bit different than my normal style.

I wrote this about my ex-girlfriend the day I had gotten the evidence of all the times she had cheated on me. I was extremely angry and in a rage and needed to get it out somehow.

I've been working on this song for a few days now, it's called "The Epic War (That We Call Life)". It would be a progressive song along the likes of dream theater rush and coheed and cambria. Any and all criticism is welcome.

*Voiced Intro*

Welcome,
Before you begin, let it be known
You are one of countless individuals,
Who are answering the call,
There is nothing that truly separates yourself,
From the others who showed up,
There are no survivors,
Everyone perishes,
There are some winners,
And a lot of losers,
Why we embark on such an endeavor,

Mdizzy: You know, I'm just going to be blunt about this: The first few times you posted song lyrics here, they were pretty terrible.
And that only serves to make the last few, including this most recent one, all the more amazing. Your improvement on the guitar surprised me, but I'm blown away by how much better you've gotten at lyrics.
I'm not saying this one's flawless, but it has some great concepts, and it's extremely well done.
Also, I'm getting that Meshuggah vibe again.
