200/211 X FCs <== COMPLETED!!! FC 200: Hangar 18

20/01/2022: Apparently peace wasn't an option, so I'm back ahead

Also, TDWF FC!!!

Guys, this is the first FC I've gotten for around 9 years. I don't even know what my last FC was. I don't know what number it is. But it's given me a profound sense of joy to get back on the plastar train over the past year, and I am really happy to see it pay off with this! Going through WoR career now to unlock the rest of the songs, is there another FC or two in there I wonder?

18/01/2022:

Slasher, game on. Tied for now, but I don't like that it still puts my name below yours on the leaderboard...

Also Global 1sts on GHVH for E/M/H Bass without Eruption, and GHVH E Guitar. Not done yet!

14/12/2020: Update, now with simplified goals!

Got bored of GH1 and running my 3 remaining Expert FCs into the ground, so switched to GH80s and remembered that it's a great game - excellent soundtrack, decent engine, and short enough that it's possible to make good leaderboard progress in a short space of time.

So, I'm happy to report one of my prouder achievements - GH80s Easy 2nd place overall!

To be clear, these scores have all been achieved without the SP lag glitch, so it's a direct comparison to morty, Doughboy, Kubuh etc. below. Not to take anything away from Tan in 1st - the dedication that has gone into that total is beyond belief.

But I'm happy with 2nd, and hitting way more NI squeezes and paths than I thought I'd ever hit in the process. I capped it off with an NI squeeze on Holy Diver that hasn't been hit in a run without the lag glitch before, so I nice way to end. I'll move onto Medium now, with the tentative goal of hitting 2nd place there as well. It will likely be a little more competitive, but I seem to be on a roll with this game, so happy to see what happens for now!

27/11/2020: 2 weeks back in, having a great time, and remembering how frustrating GH1 is sometimes Squeezing is coming back quick though, so a few goals:

GH1 Easy: 4th overall (ahead of Cdw01) - potential to climb to 2nd overall willpower depending. Current: 5th

GH1 Medium: 6th overall (ahead of Cdw01...) - depending on how tricky this is I may shoot for 3rd (alex...)

GH1 Hard: Not sure yet, haven't looked

GH1 Expert: 13.3m would be amazing. It's a bit too early to think about FCs but I'll count nothing out.

GH2: I've been grinding Jordan a bit... it's getting better, slowly but surely.

13/11/2020: welp, today I decided to have a little look at Scorehero, and was pleasantly surprised at all the old faces posting things again. And lo and behold, I got a hankering for some Guitar Hero. So I've ordered a PS2 guitar and the GH1, GH2, and GH80s. Fingers crossed it works! Gonna be taking it slow and getting back into the swing of things, but I don't think I'm done with FCs just yet...

Small life update: in the last 6 years, I've done uni, been self-employed as a music teacher, got married, and am now an accountant hope everyone's doing well through this funny old year, looking forward to sharing a few more scores with y'all soon!

JP

24/4: You may say I choked, but I was shaking like a leaf through the solo, I knew it was gonna be bad :P

Still FC'd all of Herman's and everything after the snake, could very easily have been 930k though. I just don't understand how this happened, I've not yet come to terms with the fact that I just FC'd up to the Solo of TTFaF. Jeez.

6/2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eKohlXVoSQ

4/2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISAvvALW2p4

19/1: So these leagues have been nothing short of awesome. I've had a massive amount of fun doing them, and have gained a lot of motivation. As Bjorn said, somehow I've come out of this league with no 1sts, but I'll be looking to change that I want to go for 2nd on WT, hopefully with a few videos along the way. I'll probably take a break for a few days, and then Scarecrow and I are gonna set up some kind of rivalry to keep things interesting. And dammit, I'm gonna do some winning this time My squeezing ability has definitely taken an increase somewhere along the line, and I have scores that are over 3 years old on WT still, so I'm anticipating a fairly easy 20k and then a fairly grind 10k. I'm not gonna make it a goal to get 30.4 million, but I won't rule it out, especially if there's a Satch FC along the line Should be a good time, looking forward to it :D

15/1: It's the final Should be good fun, I feel like it's gonna be really close, so let's see if I can give Scarecrow a run for his money!

Also, here's a video of my semi-final score, with some audio commentary! Any feedback would be great, I'm looking to do a few more of these!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-gTXune7iQ

29/12: Oh Leagues :P Having a great time so far, sadly I couldn't capitalise on the consistency at BatM due to time constraints, but an FC isn't out of the question at some point. I've been really lucky in the WT League with song selections, they're all the ones I couldn't be bothered to redux before All good so far, bring on the playoffs!

7/11: So yet another points milestone has come and gone, one which I never dreamed of getting, and it's just totally amazing to get this. The community may not be at its peak, but I'm having lots of fun at the moment and I'm definitely gonna keep playing for the moment. Maybe some guys will come out of retirement with some good old fashioned competition :P Eruption FC will come soon also :D

29/10: Hey FSFC Always good to get those, took about 3 months in total, a bit slower than my last one :P I've still got GH1 to redux for nearly 400k, at which I'll be around cj in the leaderboards. It's definitely time to get that 229 million now anyways :D

23/7: Hi strangers, I'm doing guitar again! GH5 mainly, got a roll on the glitching/squeezing, 5k off 3rd place, hopefully I'll be able to get maybe 15-20k more, depending on whether or not I FC 21CSM. It's not consistent, but it could happen on a fluke run, we'll see. I also got the FGFC of BH XBass with Global 1st, so I own bass now. :P More stuff happening soon, including maybe a marathon stream for charity, just need to finalize a date!

13/5: Just a quick one to say I've reached my goal, although 60 is very doable... :P I'm gonna try and keep going, I haven't grinded any of the songs I've FC'd so far, so by no means have I reached my ceiling :D

13/4: So I've been quietly learning to drum, guitar is kind of losing its appeal right now, although I will come back to stuff at some point, never fear Drums is very fun though, and the drums themselves are behaving, I did have many overhitting problems, but these have sorted themselves out, and I'm making good progress I don't like playing the long boring songs, hence the FCs of short, pretty tough songs, which is fine by me I think 50 FCs is probably possible eventually, I will be slowed down by school now though :/ But it's good fun, plus it's really helping my bass drum pedal stamina, good for real drums :)

24/12 So now all that streaming madness is done, looks like I'm starting to max out on WT... not yet though :P Had some insaneness happen on Satch tonight, sadly I couldn't put it all together in 1 run, but... D FC? I couldn't believe it, especially as it was in an actual run :P So... one to watch for after the break... :P Merry Christmas to all, and may many FCs come to you in the New Year! :D

Unfortunately I've unintentionally deleted the rest of my thread \m/ this is all that's left. These are comments from my run up to 600 XFCs :D

KramRal: you've improved drastically in the midst of improving drastically (that makes no sense but then neither does how good you're getting in a short time)
WhYYZ: Welcome to the FGFC club!
MarkAllen1988: you're amazing and your progress is amazing.
alexhaz64: Jesus, your progress is seriously sick! Please, just SLOW DOWN, WILL YA???
bushidox: 13 million is stupid awesome. This game has been the benchmark for all the players on this site for how long, and yet fewer than 50 people have gotten to 13 million. I am very impressed, nice work. Your continuing progress is truely astounding, I keep thinking you will plateau, then BLAM, oh look, hey guys I FCed another serious song, that's good right? Keep up the awesome work on both hard and expert, you know I for one will definetely be watching it.
WhYYZ: The Epicsauce is just dripping from this thread.
KramRal: HOW THE HELL ARE YOU KEEPING THIS PACE?!
arvain: *starts singing* I haaaate youuuuu, you're not a happy person, you're a dead person now ^_________^ *stops singing creepy lyrics*
Do you plan to STOP owning me so badly at gh1 ????
dave0113: BARK AT THE MOON SRFC?!?!? WTF, you have gotten really really good. Congrats!!
alexhaz64: What in the name of hell? This... this should not be possible.
KramRal: ^ This.
The-B.O.D: lolwtf is this thread. Wayyyy too much awesomeness here.
bushidox: keep up the amazing work, you have steadily moved up towards being considered one of the best on Score Hero, your hard work is paying off

It wasn't always easy though - From 10th August to 23rd October no one commented in this thread Then KramRal and SAW4135 did :D

I think the best thing about this is that I get the 'FC whore' banner now :D

Hey everyone, just a couple of things: First off, I'm pleased to report 11 GH3 FCs in the last 3 days I'm looking to knock off another couple tomorrow.

Also, if anyone wants to use a bit of competition to increase their scores without having to worry about score deadlines, I've set up a league which basically involves improving ALL your scores as much as you can with a set time. The competition starts on August 1st, but signups run for another month after that.

If you're interested, the link's in my signature.

Thanks man, and it turns out... they did! FCs 52 & 53. I also got Black Sunshine for FC 54. The Breakdown is easily doable if you take it to Slowest on Practice, then work your way up. In fact, I only ever missed on Verse 3 on the real runs

I'm close on Black Magic Woman, Stricken, Cliffs of Dover, Number of the Beast, Don't Hold Back and Take This Life, which would take me to 60. Watch this space, folks!

Damm. I have 60 and I'm nowhere close to NotB or TTL. And I should've gotten Cliffs a long time ago but that's a whole other story.

Nice job on the FC's! I'm surprised it took you this long to get SMK, but at the same time, many would consider getting Black Sunshine this early as very impressive!

BMW has weird strumming but if you grind it you can get it. Just practice and find what to start and end on for each section of oranges.

Stricken is all solo I'm assuming. I one-handed it, but I did try 2-handed methods. I just found 1 handing it easier. I'd say try both.

I got DHB super early, I'm really good at just blast strumming. Hopefully you don't have 2 post Phaser chokes like I did

Gogogo FCs!

Nice FCs Jleggy, looks like I just BARELY won that last rivalry..Had I waited any longer I'm sure you would've pulled through XD.

I'm like you though close on all those except DHB (Obviously) and TTL (I suck at the chords after those strummed trills, advice?)

NotB I just started really trying for yesterday after having found a good Solo 1 method and I haven't really missed there since, it's just all the other strumming that I make stupid mistakes in.

@Saw: Thanks for the support, man. Yeah, Suck My Kiss I expected to get at like 45 or something?! I've done them all in the wrong order really, because I got some things like Impulse and WttJ really early. But with some practice I should be able to get up to 60 fairly quickly. It's just odd bits in all the songs (Solo in Stricken, Intro B in CoD, Strumming in BMW, DHB & HiC, etc.)

@Leaky: It's gonna be harder from now, though, but with some grinding and working out methods I reckon I can get to 60 fairly quickly. With TTL, The chords at the end of the verses are the bits I always miss on, There are 8 in the song, and I usually get about 6. What I do is carry on strumming as I was in the verses, then wait a split second before the triplet, which I start on an upstrum with. What I usually do is forget to the GR immediately after the RY Triplet.

Good luck with the getting to 60 rivalry!
