Specifically, the crazy tapping part. I'm holding down green all the time, releasing and pressing red when necessary, and using my three fingers on my right hand to do the rest of the work.

Here's a video: Video

So how is ScoreHero doing it?

Belongs here my friend.

On topic, I don't tap just one hand it and only strum when you miss.

Anchor the lowest note with my index, hit the note closest to that with my middle finger, tap the two highest notes.

Slide down with the index when the lowest note changes to green, slide back up when it changes back to red.

Hit the first 80% of it on sightread doing this :P

you have to get used to bringing your right hand over to the right fret really fast to get the transition. You could also one hand the first 6 notes of it as you get your tapping hand ready

Play many customs of it? ;) That's the only reason I'm confident about FotS. :P

One handed all the way. Don't ask what I do with the other one.

Strumming

Didn't even try FotS at first, I just went straight to practice - after 15 minutes I was able to get 70% with tapping, but I just couldn't get above that. In frustration I one handed it whilst strumming like a total retard, and ended up with 83%. Go figure.

Proceeded to do it on a real run, and got 82%, 86%, 80%, 78% in the four sections respectively.

I really want to get consistent at tapping it though - it's just so much fun.

My tapping method (which is apparently lolfail):

Anchor green with my left index, hit/anchor red with my left middle finger, hit yellow with my left ring finger, and tap blue/orange with my right index/middle fingers.

Anchor the lowest fret (obviously), Blue and Orange with your tapping hand, everything else with your other one. viola!

Same. On sightread I FCed about 60% of the way into it one-handed. The only difficulty is I run out of stamina around halfway though so need to tap the top note.

12121212121212121212 and so on and so on...

But people could've guessed I'd do it that way

Do you mean the easy tapping part at the beginning of the solo, or the insane one at the end?

If it's the one at the beginning, I usually just anchor the bottom, and go 22121121

The bolds are taps.

I'm surprised a few of you can do it one handed. I made it about 15% in and had to lrn2tap. Guess I need some XP. :P
