Still another month yet for us PC users to get the add-on (can't really complain though), but personally I'm quite excited for it even as someone who tends to stay away from being a vampire. _________________

Well, I've gotten to play a few hours worth of Dawnguard content last night, and all I can say is "Wow." I won't spoil anything, but I think the people who have played so far will agree with me when I say that this storyline is fucking intense. And honestly, it really has me anticipating what will happen next. Hell, not even the original game content had me doing that. Bethesda really did well this time around. _________________

Dawnguard is indeed awesome, I am very happy with the companion for the main storyline. Hadn't had a cool female companion since Ilia glitch-disappeared
Vampyro, that second video is really cool how she mixed it with like 5 recordings of herself. Really awesome too _________________

So... Turns out that Dawnguard isn't coming to PC anytime soon. http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/07/27/bethesda-on-dawnguard-pc-we-have-not-announced-dawnguard-for-any-other-platform/
As much as I enjoy my mods it is kinda shitty to release not only a month early for a single console, but to then backpedal when the DLC is supposed to come out for everyone else and say "OH ya, that stuff? Ya we have no idea when you guys are going to get that."
Which if Bethesda isn't even announcing a release date yet, that probably reads as still being many months off. I miss the days when Bethesda had a focus for PC gamers. _________________

Wow I've never really seen such inequality across consoles. I feel like a dick to those that can't play it for talking about it, but it's a pretty sweet addition :3
I'm deep into Dawnguard right now, and I'm really impressed at how much content was released with it. It's been a solid ten hours of just Dawnguard stuff so far. (granted, I've been taking my time with things). What's most surprising is that (from what I can tell) all the new caves/places/new areas are actually new graphical content, and not just the same sort of template that repeats throughout the game, as in the dwemer buildings and the draugr ruins. I'm still one of those people that gets excited when I see something graphically awesome, and Dawnguard doesn't disappoint _________________

Not necessarily Bethesda's fault, but dear lord they went from being a company that made awesome games for all platforms they released it on to now they only remember that the Xbox exists.
I'm not terribly upset about Hearthfire being Xbox exclusive DLC (as I can get far better versions of it from mods), but that's just another kick in the teeth for PS3 owners, who got a broken game in the first place. _________________

Don't think anything has been said about Hearthfire being Xbox only, they've just only announced it for Xbox so far. Probably just exclusive for abit, like Dawnguard was. Feel bad for the PS3 owners. I'm guessing they just couldn't work out the problems with the system and if you don't have a working game, there's little reason to release new content for a broken game :\ |

Achievement list for Hearthfire is out, 5 of them for ... 50G? Maybe that's not right, probably more like 100G or 125G. Anyway they all look pretty easy, assuming you've got a bunch of gold to spend on housebuilding. _________________
