C3 Tournament Report

A few of us were down at the C3 opening in No. VA tonight. Unfortunately it was a pretty dissapointing turnout, so the prize payout was not significant

1st: Cyclone
2nd: MagicFlea
3rd: SilverKnight
4th: Sakst

Cyclone pretty much rocked me on all fronts, I played 5 songs against him and lost them all. We finished with jordan and I butchered the bridge something horrible, sealing the deal. The highlight of the tournament was playing Can't You Hear Me Knockin with sakst, i had ammassed a 8K lead thanks to a miss under star power, then right at the end I plinked on a SP note trying to get whammy (this was a theme of the night for me, I think I did that 10 times or more; I blame the controller) thus missing the last SP phrase and beat him out by 33 points. yikes!

me and silverknight did a co-op run of freebird and almost hit 1.2 mil(we only tried once
