Figured I'd post this here, as it's sort of Hardware and was a fun experiment; at least I think it was cool. Maybe it's been done before like this?
I'm using a plain electric guitar as a game controller.

Video

It's a program that listens through my microphone and responds to notes being played.
And I suck at it, mainly because I don't actually play the guitar. Whistling into the mic is much easier for me to play with, though it's not quite as fun as guitar.

Despite the video, the program has nothing to do with Frets on Fire at all, it's a separate app that just sends key presses to whatever window is currently focused.
I could put it through my Teensy to become a Rock Band USB guitar for example.
