|
|
To see all of Steam's latest sales, click on the "Specials" tab on this page.
OK, since Steam holds amazing sales all too often, I would like to change this thread to accommodate any and all sales going on from time to time (if that's alright).
Update!
"Next verse, same as the first". Meaning the sale's pretty much like the Summer Sale, only without any of the badges or whatever (and we know we don't need them anyway) and no voting system. Keep an eye on Steam, there's Flash Deals, and Daily Deals!
Somewhat unrelated, but Amazon's selling a bunch of PC games cheap, too, including Steam Keys, one of which is both Bioshock games for $4.99.

Update in favor of discussing new sales, and playing the games they are for. _________________

Geez, playing MNC is hard as balls all by yourself >_>. I have beaten the first challenge, but have only gotten as far as the 15th round on the second. Anyone up for a co-op game (assuming you can do that... can you do that with random people too?)? _________________

Play multiplayer Crossfire.
That's where the game lies. |

Steam suks, consoles rool! /troll
Steam does have amazing sales, but I never play that much, cause my laptop sucks giant penis. Anyone wanna build me a good gaming PC for free? Also, it takes fucking forever to download a game on my shitty 80 KB/s internet.
Also, I'm guessing this MNC is for PC since it's in the Steam thread. It's fucking awesome on the console. If anyone wants to play on there, just hit me up. |

Since it's free to play, I'll try it out. But aiming with a mouse = bleh. |

A few games as of late has an xbox 360 setting, if you have a wired x360 controller, you can use that instead. Its identical to playing it on the 360 with their MNC. _________________

Prepare to get totally massacred if you do that on any PC game.
MNC in particular had a few balance changes due to the mouse input- they substantially reduced the Sniper's clip, and they also reduced several things to do with the heavier classes charge- People in the beta were casually doing it around right angled corners with a high DPI :P |

Don't get me wrong, I am a keyboard/mouse guy. Its just developers are slowly bringing the concept of "I need to use a keyboard and mouse to play it" theory down, by providing that option. _________________

Another bad thing about computer games is that it completely depends on each individual's computer specs. Installed it, played the tutorial, and turned it off. Even on playing with the controller, it just doesn't feel as good as the console version.
So meh. |

The title is a bit misleading, since it says that MNC is free, and some people would take that to think that the whole game is free, instead of a free weekend. Also, the game is awesome, I've gotten to round 106 on singleplayer Blitz. |
