Wasn't sure if this would be in music discussion or general chat, but I sure as hell don't want to discuss the horrid noises the members of that band create.

I've also heard that they hit a car whilst fleeing the scene in their tour bus, and that they had underage girls in the bus as they were leaving. Supposedly the girls have made a statement, but I haven't seen anything on it yet.
Yeah though, I think it's safe to say Brokencyde are officially the biggest assholes in the face of music.

I'm guessing Punchline was lower on the same bill as BC, right? If that's the case, it's a pretty dick move to walk right up and talk shit to the guys. After all, they're responsible for bringing in fans to hear your music that never would've heard of you otherwise. Regardless of what happened after or how terrible either band is, the guy isn't exactly a saint here.

Are BrokeNCYDE still in the wrong? Yes. Should the guy be completely and utterly shocked that his comment was taken offensively? No.
And look at it this way - if you had a chance to tell BrokeNCYDE what you thought about their music, would you honestly respectfully and calmly tell them "I just don't like your music or what you guys stand for?" From what this topic looks like so far (and general internet reaction to anything BrokenCYDE), I don't think you guys would.
There's three sides to every story, and I'm willing to bet it's possible that the drummer wasn't as calm as he's claiming.
