It might be me, but i'm seeing two different categories here, "best" and "most impactful". I think TDWDTG would qualify as the "best", simply for the outrageous strumming speed you'd have to get, not once but twice, and on top of that, the ending solos were a chokefest.
In terms of most impactful, I'd definitly go for Jordan, cause it opened the floodgate to the possibilities of what the Guityar Hero community could do, it showed that any song is fc-able, it's just a matter of determination, commitment and time. |

I would have to say Jordan.
Like a few people before me have said, it proved that really anything could be FCed, and was the first "impossible" song that was FCed. I still remember how stoked the whole SH community was when it happened. That was a good day. :P
Next, I'd have to say Gergorge, then TTFAF. Just for the fact that DWDTG just seemed impossible at so many points, and TTFAF had so many places for you to choke. _________________
Did somebody say [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]? |

It was the first example of someone actually FCing the ridiculous.

Hangar 18 says hi. |
Cowboys from Hell says hi. |
I didn't even think of those two, simply because they didn't have the same anticipation and following as Jordan. While both those songs are incredibly tough, Jordan had a certain aura about it that made its FC carry so much more weight.
Like I said, I was here (in a different guise) when Jordan was FCed and the tension in the build-up and the outburst at the eventual FC have only been matched by TTFAF. Since Jordan happened first, it's a natural choice.
The question is most important, not most impressive. |
