Need advice for buying a keyboard

Hello everyone!

As the title says, I might buy a keyboard (or get it for christmas), but I need some help.

What are the good, trustable brands? I'm not a professional, but I know basic chords and stuff, I just want to be better and play whenever I want.

Also, there is no music shop around here, so I'll have to buy it online. So if you could link good website that ships to Canada, it would be appreciated.

I don't want top-notch quality stuff, neither some cheap keyboard that will break after 2 years. I have about 400-450$ to spend (maybe higher if its worth it).
