An issue with using a PS3 Les Paul for GH3 on PC

I have GH3 for my laptop and a Les Paul PS3 guitar with the wireless dongle. Also, I am using Xpadder 5.7. Here is my issue:

When I boot up GH3, the guitar responds just fine and all the keys and strum bars work fine. However, as soon as I start a song, I press the green fret and it registers as an orange fret and strums it without me touching the strum bar.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you fellow wizards.
