I'm really tempted to buy it off ebay as the shipping is the cheapest I've ever seen for a metal pad.
I'm concerned about the durability of the thing, as I've heard that it's not great. What scares me is the 30-day warranty. Knowing my luck, it will die on the 31st day. -_- I'll also have a hard time sending back the pad as I don't live in the US, so shipping will be horrible.
Some information about me - I've been playing on $10 plastic mats off Play-asia with Stepmania, and occasionally at the arcade, but I feel rather self-conscious. >_> I'm pretty much your average player, I can pass some 9s but not stuff like Cartoon Heroes.
Soooooooo should I get this iON pad? _________________

Some quick reviews showed that the pads don't last very long, and that the metal bar isn't exactly stable.
I'd pass on it. You're better off doing something like this to get the same effect, but this will last a lot longer. _________________
