I won't get this week's scores in.

edit: Sorry, I was a bit upset earlier. Got back from my holiday to learn that one of my closest friends has passed away. So no scores this week, will be ok next week. I'll survive

His greatest GH achievement was FC'ing My Name Is Jonas on Expert, which was also one of his favourite songs, so I'm gonna go for optimal on that as well. Writing a song as well, but hey, you guys don't need to worry about it.

And chem, I'm doing Chemistry as one of my A levels (don't know if you know how UK school works - basically final 2 years of high school, 16-18) so I know where to go if I need help lol.

Thanks guys, but don't worry yourselves about it. I'll write something in my acc's thread when I get MNiJ optimal, but other than that I won't mention it again. To be honest, I'll end up having a go at the songs today anyway, I need something to do, otherwise I'll just think about it all day. So don't worry, I'll still be able to do 5 songs a week :P

OK, scores done, didn't take too long, don't worry Sham

DN - 90,388 (which I think is optimal, unless ticks are possible on the 1st act.
ME - 36,550 (cba)
DV - 142,205 (dammit chris... didn't go for 1st act squeeze for ticks, which may have got me 1st)
RaRiD - 118,208 (Nice ticks Sham)
ST - 147,350 (same as everyone)

Which puts me 256 points in the lead. Not bad

I won't be playing them again though, so it's there to beat.

Before I detail the week 1 results, I think it's fair to say that between us we are pretty much gonna optimalise everything we play! It was also a nice surprise to have such a wide ranging spectrum of songs that had different strengths needed to get top scores. We learnt that whilst I can squeeze, I can't whammy for shit (or my GH5 guitar can't, but either way it amounts to me not being able to reach notes that I should), and we learnt that Chrisssss is the exact opposite. Between us we'll rule the world!!! As for J and chem we learnt they can do both when they put their mind to it

Week 1 Scores
Dope Nose - 90,388 - JLeggy12 & Chrisssss. Not quite optimal as certainly another 8 pts available on the 1st squeeze, but close enough. Safe to say no ticks on the others!!
Master Exploder - 36,750 - DrSham & chemmajr. Optimal!!
Double Vision - 142,229 - Chrisssss. Pretty sure 142,4xx is optimal but good luck to anyone in getting that!!
Rock And Roll Is Dead - 118,216 - DrSham. Possibly optimal. Maybe another tick or two but nobody reported getting more.
Space Truckin' - 143,750 - Everyone! Not optimal as 200 more available with the single SP activation but not sure anyone ever going to get that.

Points
1st - JLeggy12 - 534,701 - 2 pts and 5 bonus pts for the win.
2nd - Chrisssss - 534,533 - 3 pts.
3rd - DrSham - 534,445 - 3 pts.
4th - chemmajr - 534,405 - 2 pts

Overall, I think it's obvious that it was a great start to the rivalry. Long may it continue and maybe others (like void this week) will also join in.

Okay, so I had a go at the songs today. The only score that I think I can beat is King of Rock. Might have maximised the other scores already on the first day... oh well.

SSS - 138,130 - not sure if I can get the "proper" last squeeze, so this may be my highest score.
KoR - 130,751 - I can't seem to get the second squeeze, but I will continue to try!
NF - 98,610 - yeah, not about to beat this obviously.
BLF - 75,145 - surprised myself with getting the second squeeze. I can't get the harder first squeeze though.
WTW - 132,001 - good for a first try, not sure if I'll beat it though.

Total score - 574,637

I have a feeling I'm gonna love this rivalry though. It's nice to play songs that I don't have scores on yet, so very nice choice Sham with GH:A easy this week!

Yeah the first squeeze is easy, but the last squeeze to the yellow note is still hard for me.
