You shouldn't need to HO/PO at all.
I alternate strum the blue/orange notes in the riff as straight eighth notes, and it works every time because of GH's tolerance for early and late hits.
I guess technically I'm hitting the notes on the later side of the acceptable timing window, but playing them as 1and2and3and4 (evenly-timed eighth notes) instead of 1e 2e 3and4 has worked perfectly. It should work if you only downstrum too.
I played them too quickly the first 100 times I played the song too, but once I slowed it down to eighth notes, it definitely helped and I never break my multiplier anymore. Good luck! _________________

I finally got it this morning, along with an almost 5* SCM and my first 4* TF. I was just dead on this morning, I was nailing every BO with alternate strumming. It simply clicked and was as easy as it should have been the whole time. Thanks for the help guys ;) |
