Ugh, I need to get better at whammying. The problem is, on my SG, you have to be rather aggressive on the whammy bar for it to work.

So I've only gotten one song done so far and that one took me way too long <.< I really hope I don't fall behind. This week is already busy as hell IRL, let alone trying to compete on plastar! lol

EDIT: Two songs done. The 2nd one didn't take too long thankfully. Not sure about the next two songs though since I haven't tried them yet. And I'll be honest, I'm kind of hoping that Troggy shows up. I need to reFC that song for a better score. My initial FC was a low score because I didn't use a path

(wasn't expecting an FC though either <.<)

EDIT 2: One song left. Not sure if I can do anything with this last song. We shall see though. Ugh.

On topic: Mother is frustrating me with its squeezing... Sweet Child O' Mine is also quite frustrating... Strutter's last squeeze is a complete pain in the butt and the solo squeeze is annoying me as well actually... as for The Light That Blinds strumming, well, do I need to say anything?

I'm currently on the train on my way up to London for work today, so this won't be long.

I think I'm gonna settle with my score for Mother even though I have got 200 extra on one run. Strutter I know I can beat, but it's proving very difficult. SCOM I know I can get at least 400 more still but I've only gotten the first squeeze ONCE. I may or may not grind TLTB over the weekend because I've only FC'd the strumming ONCE ever... 100%'d it a few times though.

Good week though still as I have improved all of my scores by a decent amount, in my opinion. Lookin forward to seeing what's on the menu next week!

Well it's midnight in the UK now so I'm not playing these songs again.

Strutter - satisfied to an extent with my score, although I know I can beat it.
Mother - I'm missing 200 that I've gotten once, oh well, decent enough score anyway.
Sweet Child O' Mine - happy with my score, I guess. No idea if I can beat it... that first squeeze is a bitch & the solo squeeze is annoying as well.
The Light That Blinds - well, I've managed to FC the strumming TWICE in practice now, but couldn't do it in a real run... whatever... beat my score anyway so it's all good. Maybe I'll FC it some other day. >__>

Can't wait to see what songs are next when I wake up.

Hey guys, I just wanted y'all to know that I've been having a lot of personal drama in my life with my bf, so my scores aren't going to be up to their usual level. However, I did make sure to get somewhat decent scores on both GH2H and GH2X, though I imagine I'll be around the mid-level on GH2H and probably low-level on GH2X.

Next week, hopefully I'll have more energy to put into the songs; I want to make the playoffs this year considering the immense talent that's in this league!

didnt improve on my best at any song but I am excited for the next weeks and will be doing my best for a playoff spot
very excited to see if fun songs like trogdor, fop or freebird come up or the traditional nearly ideal ties on mr fix it and the new black, always fun stuff and great memories
hope no tie songs in the playoffs though!

edit: what are these shit songs jeez I guess it cant really get any worse for week 3 and 4 so Ill stay optimistic

25 mins seems safe enough...average scores on 3 of the songs. light that blinds...2 370k+ runs...1 was my guitar overstrumming for no reason in the beginning of the song (100%) and the other was me not paying attention and missing a random note (-1). both runs I FCed the stupid strumming

Score submitting is closed. So I'll just say that I improved my scores on all 4 songs, which really isn't saying much because my past scores were AWFUL. lol I did FC all 4 songs though.

I was really pleased with this week's scores. However, due to circumstances concerning work (new promotion and the fact that I'm working a ton of hours), I'm a little worried about weeks to come for this league for me. I have so little motivation to play when I get home and doing all 4 songs in one day is just too much.

And fun songs this next week at least! So there's a little motivation for me

So this was really my first foray into squeezing H, especially on GH2. Unfortunately week 1 just happened to pick two songs I already had gold stars on from five years ago or so :p Not that it mattered, my scores were atrocious. Anyway I got all my scores in last night which I was pretty proud of, I really didn't have any time before then. (and expert took up my time today) My scores were mostly just ok. Mother was terrible with that last act whammy, really killed my score

SCoM was the same way with the solo act, I managed to get -400 I think overall but I missed a front end so it's still disappointing. Strutter was the only score I was content with, as I hit every squeeze. Not the best ticks, but that's fine. TLTB was a fun one, I missed 200 in the solo act back end, but otherwise my score is pretty solid. Glad I didn't have any trouble getting the FC, at least

All in all, I'm glad I joined this league. The songs were a lot of fun and I'm glad I can finally get a start with putting in H scores for this game. This is obviously my secondary league, so I'm not too concerned with perfecting my scores, but I will certainly do my best to stay at the top in the coming weeks.

(especially since I have more time to play now!)
