Well, I got my Swap Magic to accept this last disc. Then, it took about 5 minutes for the Red Octane thing to come up. The memory card thing never came up at all. Ack, I ruined my last disc. All the song titles and band names were within the 36/47 rule. Oh well. _________________

Oh man, that video looks so promising. This will be spectacular once all the bugs are worked out. |

Well I downloaded the newest version, edited all 64 names. Followed the 36/47 rule. Only saved once when I was finished. Compiled and burned with ImgBurn. It booted fine and works perfectly with SwapMagic 3.6 |

I had songs with numbers in them "27 needles" and "25 or 6 to 4" for instance so I don't know.
Its cool to see the entire set-list replaced its really almost surreal since it was something that was kind of deemed impossible for the time being. |

The thread hasn't been up very long. It will probably get stickied eventually, but geez there are so many stickies.....
Anyway, I was trying to figure out what made my dtb file ruin my game. I sent it to Nachyoz, he is taking a look at it. Unless the numbers 23469 don't work at all, I don't see what could be messing it up. _________________

Ive got all the gh1 songs, so I dunno if Thunderkiss 65 did it.
I took out 65, and still didnt load. So I dunno.
But comparing the song lists, only Hangar 18 has digits in it. |

LOL we'll see if its stickied. For some it seems to be working great, for others not so good so there may be some issues we don't know about IE song names can be any length but the whole list can be over X size. That kind of stuff is very possible and hard to come up with.
But I want to say thanks to all you people trying it out. The more people using it the better chance there is of finding all the issues and overcoming them or at least finding a way around them. Also if people are feeling "adventurous" a LOT of the game's text is in \main\ui\eng\gen\locale.dtb (replace eng with other languages if there are any other language versions.)
When I say a lot I mean A LOT, all the loading screen messages, the newspaper reviews, store item descriptions. Maybe even the category names.

True. Rename the tiers and the load screen jokes.
Like how some are random but the encores and bonus tracks are all set.
Ungh, youve opened up quite a can of worms my goodman.
I dont suppose anyone has a memcard file for pcsx2 with all songs unlocked?
I could never figure that out.
If I can get that to work, I can try to see about having it save to a diff file.
Mwagag, with a sleepin 2 year old in my lap, im down to around 4 mins per try.
Thunderkiss 6 works. Trying 65 again. If not, ill try just 5, or 66.
Flood up the characters, maybe there is a max. and I tried editing only the first like shout a tthe dvil, and then loaded mother to make sure it didnt pusht hat around. |

As far as I know Guitar Hero 2 is one of the games the emulator has a problem with memory cards (always thinks its unformatted) but if anyone knows away around that I would love it
