If you use a controller you have problems.

Yeah, it does suck. It's really hard to play fast chord changes. I like some rhythm games on a controller. The bonus games featuring Felicia on SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millenium for the NGPC for one. Even Taiko Drum Master is ok with a controller if you really need to use one, but GH should only be played on the guitar controller.

Fast notes aren't too hard with it, it's the fast chord changes that get you. Try Breaking Wheel or Guitar Hero on Expert with a controller.

Don't get me wrong i always play with the SG. Is it true that Harmonix made a limited edition custom controller?

If you're talking about the wireless one, it's a third-party controller.

And I absolutely HATE using the Dual Shock. First of all, I've gotten so used to playing the game with my left hand (essentially) that being forced to use my right hand for over half of the notes jacks me up. Secondly, I really don't like being forced to push in the buttons to hit EVERY note.

Thirdly, if you don't have an SG controller you need to get one. It's what truly makes this game.

I rarely use the dual-shock controller when I'm playing GH.

On some songs I'm good, on others, I suck. It's a double-edged sword.

But, in the next game, I'd appreciate it more if the ORANGE button was moved to Triangle instead of X.

I don't know how many times I messed up doing orange button runs.
