Damn its hard (for me at least). How do you guys do it? Sometimes when I HOPO it I can do it but that doesn't always work. I've tried single strumming but its too fast and when I double strum I go to fast.

So how do you guys do it?

P.S. The 5* cutoff is like 165-175k right? I got 116k and got a 4*, I lie not, so the cutoff is probably 165kish.

Yeah I figured. I suppose this is the best song to officially practice double strumming. I can do it, just not consistently and with a lot of changing notes it fucks me up.

yeah alternate strum has worked best for me. I did try just strumming the first two notes, and then the last one and HO/PO-ing everything else, but it was inconsistent

Ditto, on everything you said. I did try some alt. strumming vs. single and if i really try i do alright with single strumming. But I will need to get alt. strumming anyway.

I'd just play it like Alex Lifeson does, alternate strum your little pick-holding fingers.

I missed it once in my best run, which woulda been first if i got it

I alt strum it and i use my 123 fingers for the whole thing

I'm sure I'll just downstrum in like most every other song I play. It doesn't look impossible to downstrum.
