Hey rabies, FYI, if you're working on a song with a known 5* threshold, just devide the score by 3, then multply buy 2 and that should be the 4* threshold. I've done that to Even Rats SYSB and SOML. I'll be working from the bottom up on 4 stars.
Hopefully Echelar doesn't finish it all first
Echelar, if that's how you get your exact scores, that's pretty impressive. I kina just wait to get lucky. I mean, i'm usually within 15 pts, and eventually that get's it for me, but acually calculating when to let off the sustained note . . . that's crazy _________________

I just finished up the expert 4 stars (except for The Breaking Wheel). So I've just determined 10 more cut-offs.
If I counted correctly, there are 110 cut-offs left to be proven. |

the 4 stars for hard are all done now except TBW..which is too much of a hassle. I'm off to start on 5 star hard now.
Good job guys.
oh..and thanks for the tip ebayitup. I actually found threads by riff(? i think) that posted estimated cutoffs..and they have mostly been dead on. |

I did a handful more last night, bringing to remaining total down to 103. Which means we've proven over 150 cutoffs in one week. I know a lot of people will be happy when this task is complete because it'll allow JCirri to (possibly) add to the site with new six star ratings. Looks like it won't be long now. _________________

That's what I'm talking about! Show me the money!!!
.....no, we do it for the love of the game and nothing more.....right...guys?
But I mean, if you want, you can still show me a little money, or maybe a free gift from the scorehero store? Anything but the thong, of course. _________________

I'm pretty sure he meant that we could continue to get contribution points by giving money to jcirri.....not that jcirri would start paying us to find cut-off scores.
If jcirri was paying to determine cut-off scores..they all would have been done 6 months ago. |

On a seperate note.
hey ebayitup..if you read this.
I notice you put in cutoff scores for caveman rejoice just before I did. I did not see any scores submitted for that and so I started, and an hour later, when I went to submit proof..you had beat me to it.
...anyway... I noticed you did not nail it down. I too got the same scores you submitted, but for the life of me, I could not get a score of 140981. Did you have the same problem? I swear it is impossible to get a score ending with 31 or 81 on that song! I must have tried 2 dozen times to get a score ending with 81 to no avail. |

Oh..I do...believe me...its just that the whole sarcasm thing often does not work when typed out over an Internet forum. My bad. |

JCirri wrote: | Alright I'll try to add a column or make two separate tables. The problem is that theres a single contribution value associated with each person's account, so it's not easy to figure out how many of the points came from proofs vs. donations. But it can be done by analyzing the donation transactions, so I'll see what I can do. |
Since I just got around to throwing a bunch of cash at you, and thereby knocked whichever hardworking real contributor who was in 5th place off the list, uhm... bump.
Riz, the not-really-contributing... _________________

Thank you for the very generous donation.
I'll work on fixing this table right now.
EDIT: OK, there's now two separate displays for donations and proofs. I might improve the formatting a bit later, but this should work for now. _________________
