So i just started getting to the point of 100% on songs and being able to play in tournaments and i noticed that alot of peole use the PS2 controlller. So as a suggestion would be to be able to pick which one you used to get the score.
I thought of this because on youtube there is a video of a guy doing bark at the moon on expert and his wammy bar was like insanly good like i just can't explain, and then i looked at krinsumsmunkeys (sorry if i butcherd the name) video and it was no commparison to what the other guy did.

I think you vastly overestimate how many people use the Dual Shock for this game. I guarantee nobody in the top 200 uses it regularly.

I think YOU've vastly over-estimated it. I think maybe one or two guys on this forum use it regularly. (Or at least, they're the only ones who have admitted to using it.)

I'm confused.. what does whammy have to do with ps2 controller?

I'm curious to see this video.. All the ones I've seen haven't been as impressive as krim's, with or without a controller.

He means the kid's good at whammying right away. The actual run isn't that impressive. He apparently doesn't know how good you, Random, and Echelar are at whammying.

Not so much. There aren't very many good players who use the PS2 controller. I'd say probably 0.5% of people who play competitively use the dual analog. With a SG users to dual analog users ratio of 200 to 1, I don't think the site needs changed to incorporate their playing style.

ive only known one person thats used a controller, and after having tried it (since i prefer to use the SG) using a controller has one slight advantage, if you can get used to it atleast. you dont have to move your hands much. on the other hand faster songs like batm would be a bit more difficult, what with the amount of same colored notes all in row.
