sounds good, I'll come if I can make it my 18th birthday is 5th august so if it was on the 2nd/3rd and I couldn't come because of the venue... I'd be so pissed off...

Serious advice now: No-one likes indecision in their work, so find what you like that you're even remotely good at, and stick with it. Don't flit from one thing to another, because that just smacks of a large lack of determination and drive. And people don't like you for that, and won't remember you for it. I mean, I get that you have a plucky spirit and a willingness to try new things, but there's a limit, man.
I might knock it down to just Thursday and Friday.

I'm in New York for 8 days from the 2nd of August, so July or late August is good for me.

Captain let me know if you want to meet up for a drink or something while you're in Brighton.

It'd be awesome if we could pull this off with everyone happy I can't do any date in July though and the beginning of Aug is looking doubtful for me....the 9th and 10th could be a stretch but the 16th and 17th would probably be the best time for me now. Hopefully we can sort something out!

Hi guys, slightly off-topic here but I thought some of you might be interested and this seemed like the best place to let you guys know!

Basically, starting from this week there are going to be special Guitar Hero III events organised by Xtaster.co.uk happening at various nightclubs around the country. There'll be plenty of freebies and promotional items that you can pick up, and you can show off your GH skills

There'll also be promoted bands in conjunction with these events - Feeder are first up for June so there will be promo Feeder items being given away, and you can check out some of the tracks from their latest album too.

These nights will be quite a casual affair - however, Xtaster are also planning on organising a proper tournament with prizes. I don't have any confirmed details on that though - once I know the info I'll set up a proper announment in the main tournament forum.

If any of you guys are interested, click the banner below, or feel free to send me a PM and I can let you know the upcoming nights. I've also set up a Facebook group which I'll keep updated with further info as and when I can:

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=22080223202&ref=nf

Any questions feel free to give me a shout!

Justin

lol there is one in Portsmouth at the crappy club night I used to go too when I was 16. (well I still occasionally end up there when I'm blind drunk with nothing else to do )

I'd heard they may be running something down there but didn't realise it was a sponsored event.

Not quite sure where Feeder come into this, but I'd rather they didn't unless they've suddenly given up being shit and started being good again. >_>

It certainly is, as I was under the impression that there was one on the 28th - it is indeed missing from the list though. I'll check with my contact and let you guys know! I'm also going to try and find out how the first few nights went so I can give you all some more details on exactly what'll be going on for the other nights

Sweet! Some time in August would do me (summer holidays) just wondering, not to sound like a noob, or stupid, or anything, but do you have age restrictions for this kind of thing?

No official age limit but if you're young - like, under 18 - it'd be best for you and everyone else if you make sure your parents are cool with the idea, because the rest of us (apart from maybe one?) are adults and likely to be drinking and... well, that's it really, but I'm sure some parents would be horrified at the idea of their kid hanging out with a bunch of adults from the internet, however innocent it may be.
