|

After spending my entire weekend creating topics/posts, uploading charts, and editing note chart links, they're now ready.
I know it's been a while since the release, but better late than never. Enjoy.
Credit goes to kata for the charts. _________________

Weird- they look like the new gh1 charts in that respect. |

i think i noticed this one... like somehow JCirri's GHEX version (or maybe screen resolution/size) does this... my GHEX version always generated equally spaced measures (assuming 4/4 time)
he had this effect when he posted up a misirlou SP path once and i was confused as to the formatting _________________

kata generated the charts for me, so it's nothing with my version.
But as far as I can tell, the "Extract" feature formats them like that, even though that's not how it looks within the GHex interface. I think if you export a chart, you'll see it's formatted the same way. _________________

Hi,
Given that GHEX is no longer available (and I don't have a copy), and kata has left, what is the procedure now to update a chart when you find an error?
The Xbox 360 "Hey You" chart has at least one error. |

After looking through a ton of charts recently, it's clear that the new GH1 charts and the 360 charts have inconsistent spacing within measures:
-For measures where there are no more than one note within each half-beat, the measures are smaller/thinner.
-For measures that have multiple notes within a half-beat, the measure is expanded/lengthened.
I wonder why the ps2 charts are all evenly spaced? |

Bump- does anyone know why the GH1 and 360 charts are different than the ps2 gh2 charts? |

My suspicion is that they were generated with different versions of GHEX and a bug may have been introduced which caused the 360 charts to be inconsistent. Unless someone happens to have the current and an older version of GHEX sitting around, we'll probably never know. |
