I need some help. First post.
I am able to clear all the songs on hard except for BatM. I have a cast on my right hand, so I usually downstrum. and don't have an issue on songs when it comes to strumming in time.
My issue is my left hand, the fret buttons. In most fast songs on hard, I can't seem to figure out how to hit fast sections... for example I usually can't do this:
GRYBO BYRG fast
or
GYBO BYRG fast
things like that just mind boggle me and im messed. Mayby my strumming is an issue, but I don't thinki it is, but can anyone tell me ways to get better at frets? Thanks |

ES is right on the money.
If you polled all the top players..I would be willing to get the natural postition for most is to rest finger 1 on red by default. I know I do. I learned to accept that about a month into the game..when I started playing hard/expert exclusively. |

Yeah...I'm not even a top player and I use that. It's just easier to reach with your index finger than it is with your pinky. _________________

Issues with Fingering.
It had so much more promise than what was delivered. _________________

even on sharp dressed man, or the one part in godzilla, when it's just
RGRGGRR or something, i still shift my hands instead of playing

I had/have another question / need for advice:
How exactly do you do
GRYBOBYRG fast fast repeating?
Do you slide your hand?
And I can't seem to figure out exactly how to HO/PO , it dosen't seem to make much sense/ work often.
BTW beat 47/47 on hard today, including BatM : D |

There's a time and place for GRY(BO) rather than (GR)YBO. In fact, there's one song, can't remember which, where for a time it's G(RY)BO. However, on expert, the last four seems to be a more common occurence than anything else. |

I would do this:
GRYBOBYRG
112343211
So yes.. slide your hand.
Even when it is a 4 note run, I typically do this:
BYRG
3211 |

Seriously? You should really learn to use that pinky finger of yours. _________________
