I've been playing guitar for 4 years now, and I'll say get the guitar. My first guitar was an Epiphone...it didn't sound too bad... and last year I got myself a Strat. It's the white on white model Hendrix used at Woodstock '69 _________________

Get the guitar, ive been playing for 5 years and playing actual guitar in front of people is awesome. I use some Epi acoustic thats actually pretty good and the only electric i have is really crappy..not even going to tell you the name.
Im trying to get a job right now so that i can buy probably an Epiphone explorer, i love explorers, always have. I would get a gibson but i need a new guitar NOW, so cheaper is better lol. |

Not that I could say much about the matter of the topic, but...
If you're serious about it (and since you're getting lessons), then yeah, get a guitar. Though I'd want to give you a piece of advice: If possible, don't get bundles or a cheapo guitar/amp, if you do, you'll need new ones within a year. |
