Xbox 360 League - Week 1 results

As I stated in the main thread, I wanted to split this league, but I was looking for at least 60 submissions. With over 100 signups, I only ended up getting 46 submissions. So the league will be one large open league this season.

Any typo's problems you see should be reported via PM only. Please limit typo corrections only to corrections on score. If the typo is in the % or NS, just leave it..not worth the hassle of fixing.


6/18 Update: abarre1234 confirmed that his LC score was a typo (was #1 by a large margin). Corrected, points distribution changed as a result.

Ah, I knew I should've went and improved my Strutter score. Meh, splitting the leagues was no big loss for me then, I would've been in the top one anyways. Nevertheless, good job, guys!

Woah ... tied for 6th, way better than I was expecting. I was surprised more people didn't do better on Strutter. I spent some time working out a close-to-optimal path (very difficult with the twist), but didn't come anywhere near to executing it, and still scored 3rd. I like that twist, though - forces planning on your own as opposed to just following someone else's chart.

I expect a long list tied for 1st on the twist this week

I don't know what to think about my position on the overall score. I did well (better than I expected) on the 3 regular songs, but I sucked so bad at Strutter. I couldn't make a run through the song with a less-than-60-NS, and once I finally did it, I just wrote the score down. I didn't work out a star power path, or count notes or anything. I just plain did the song, and that's what my score showed. I'm gonna start actually trying harder on the twists. It probably won't help much, but it'll help. I know I can't win, I just wanna make the playoffs. I think I'll do better on Yes We Can. All I have to do is ace it and I'll be high.

Well, just as I predicted, Right smack, dab in the middle.

I for one REALLY enjoy those twists like Strutter - there's strategy involved on a song you can stand listening to over and over, and don't have to worry about actually finishing a song, like certain twists my man calvin here hates.

Wow, I did suprisingly better than expected on the strutter twist. I was expecting close to last because i played it once and just guessed when to extra strum.
