GH2 - S5 - League B Week 1 Results

haha, got it in one. Usually I say i'm from Slough and people just instinctively ask "Is that where the office is filmed?" Thought I'd do things the other way round on here, must admit I wasn't entirely sure it'd work on a predominantly American forum though. Are you from nearby then or was that just random acquired knowledge?

Also yeah, that is what worries me, especially when I've seen elsewhere about people mapping star power paths and so on. If people do that here I'm well and truly screwed, being far too lazy to do anything else other than play it by ear :p Well there's always rock this town I guess... I'm doing alright on that I think

Aha, thought so. Its not an awesome feat of knowledge on my part though, I live in Reading

I'm the same... while I'll improve a song up to FC, I just don't have the patience to optimise SP activation to the note and to "squeeze". Here's to hoping that B2 will mainly be sub FC...

Pretty small world though he, didn't expect to find anyone local on here, then I enter the league and wind up competing against someone a few miles down the road. Good luck mate, here's to the Berkshire boys dominating this league

Indeed. We're lucky we're not a bit better than we are, or we'd be at the bottom of B1 instead

Damn right, I'm still pretty chuffed the the cut-off point was at me, I checked my scores compared to the ones in B1 and if that was my competition I think i'd have succumbed to depresssion.

Yeah the b1 division is crazy. I wouldn't have ranked very good if i got put in that division.

Nah, just relax mate, it aint like everyone in B2's gonna win, same as only 1 person can win in B1. My hopes aren't all that high of taking home the gold. 3rd to last place aint a bad thing, you know the competition now, you know that perhaps at the level you're currently at, you aren't gonna win (believe me, a point to this is coming). It is a 6 week league though, you've got more than a month left to show off your guitar hero scores on here. You may not improve and end up where you are, but hey, being at the bottom of your division more than likely makes you better than anyone in ours so you can take that back with you, and you get to see what competition is like at a higher level (and be thankful that you aren't in open B if you don't fancy your chances here :p). maybe seeing those people in your league kicking your arse might make you step up a gear over these 5 weeks, progress a bit and the like. I know the reason I came on here was to find like-minded people who wanted to improve at this game without the prospect of making yourself improve seem either too intimidating or too boring, and it's working.
