Now that coop is already going on in GH2 demo, and then every song will have Coop in the full version, can we set up a Coop leaderboard? I'm not sure how it would be done, but say both members had to be scorehero.com members, and then the two could create a coop team, and then have that on a special coop leaderboard. I think it would be a lot of fun, and we all know that by the time GH3 comes out, GH2 is gonna be getting a bit old...and having a whole new coop leaderboard will add a WHOLE new mix to things.

I'll echo my reply to your PM here as well.

Yes, I do have plans to incorporate co-op rankings. But not for the demo.

First, I want to get everything setup for GH2 and make sure we have a nice transition before I make any siginificant changes to the site (such as adding coop). Once GH2 is setup and running stable, I'll decide how to go about adding co-op to the mix.

I would imagine the only leaderboards would be Easy/Easy, Medium/Medium, Hard/Hard, and Expert/Expert. There would just be TOO many leaderboards if there were mixed-difficulty leaderboards.

Kov there should at least be an Expert/Hard. And other than that I agree, not too many leaderboards.

I'm going to have to agree with Kov here.

If I have an Expert/Hard then I'd also need a Hard/Expert for the reverse parts, and that seems too confusing.

This is a good question which I've not totally decided yet. But this is my thinking so far:

I'll have a way for users to request a team by selecting another user and a name for the team. Then the other member must accept the request and the team will be registered. At that point either member of the team would be able to submit co-op scores for the team.

I'll probably limit users to one team initially, and have an upgrade available in the store to add more "team registration slots".
(and yes I realize you can just create a new account, but some people may want to maintain their reputation)

*puts in another vote for expert/hard pairings*

*knows it's probably in vain*

Question: will people be limited to one team? I have 4 IRL friends with GH1, and all of them plan on getting 2. 3 of them are already SH members.

You should just put one team ranking page.....

Expert/Expert will be ranked by score against Hard/Hard and Expert/Hard.

Otherwise it will be too confusing.
