Here is the path I used to get 3rd score but I think I was lucky with the 2nd SP and I also think there might be a better path because I end the song with an unused SP.

2 : Next note
1 : 1st Green
2 : Next Note
3 : 5th Green

For those who can't get the half bar outta the third SP...

2 - next note
2 - 1 beat into the next G
2 - 2nd Green
3 - next green

I missed one squeeze and I got second ... down by 328.

Hi there Buddy

I was very lucky to get this activation, I play the note very early and whammy very early too. But I know that there are better players than me out there who are able to do that every time. It was a one-shot wonder for me...

Trying to figure out where the extra squeeze is is driving me crazy. I've so far seen it possible to squeeze about 48 more points out by shifting activations, but otherwise I'm missing something. The only one I could think would be that last on the first activation, but I'm convinced that's just not possible (I can't even squeeze it activating on the 2nd G, much less the first).

Also of note, I think I may have figured out the truly optimal path, and I've hit the two hardest parts of it, just not in the same run, and it's going to take for-ever to actually hit this one to find out if I'm right.

ROA's The Warrior Path

2 - Activate on the third
1* - Activate on the hold in measure 34. (*will require extreme whammy squeezing)

2 - Next note
1** - Activate as soon as SP is ready [in the middle of the 2nd SP phrase] (**will require extreme whammy squeezing both on the hold note in SP#6 and the hold note in SP#7)
2 - note in measure 110

And I know for sure an activation can be gotten out of SP#3, as well as the holds in SP#6+7, they're just extremely tough (which is why it'll be a nightmare getting both in the same run.)

Yes, definitely possible, and definitely hard. I've only been able to pull it off a few times so far.

Which actually doesn't matter, because it's the wrong path.

I had

2-2(1)-3 which wasn't as good as 2-2-2-3

but for those of you whammy godz (wasn't that a Judas Priest tune? oh wait no it was metal gods)(which is a better song than this piece of wimpness)

2-1-2-3 might be the ticket. The combo of sp6 and sp7 confused me at first but then I got it but then thought no that's not it and if you start 6+7+8 at measure 83 it might be more stuff.

And for the rest of us who aren't whammy godz, 2-2-2-3 seems best.

of course, I could be wrong

Now that you have 2nd, which path is better. Oh and where are your activations?

My 1st place score doesn't use either of those.

There MIGHT be a really tight squeeze left in my path, but if that's not possible it looks like your 2nd place path is at least a tick better than mine, assuming that there is a squeeze you're missing like your comment says.

This song has a few tough squeezes.
