The super DownStrum spectacular

Hey folks

I thought a fun little idea for a competition would be to take a couple of the tougher GH1 songs, and do them using only downstrumming - rules are as follows :

a) one run through per song - your first score is your score...
b) HOPOs are allowed - just no alt-strumming - if you alt-strum once or twice by accident, that is acceptable, but just try to downstrum everything
c) if anybody else is interested, scores should be posted by Sunday night at the latest
d) Skill Level : Expert - if there is a call for it, we can set up a seperate contest for Hard difficulty
e) Tracklist:
1) I Wanna Be Sedated
2) Heart Full Of Black
3) Ace Of Spades
4) Higher Ground
5) No One Knows
6) Cowboys From Hell
7) Bark At The Moon
8) The Breaking Wheel
9) Cheat On The Church
10) Get Ready To Rock

Highest score wins - also, if a song is failed, take your score up to the point of failure, and add that to your total!

I will hopefully get to try this this evening and will post my scores then - hope that this isn't a really silly idea, but I think it might be kind of fun

9) Cheat On The Church- Easy 5* with all downstrumming
10) Get Ready To Rock- Pretty high score with only downstrumming

The ones that are truly accomplishments are CfH, TBW, and BaTM. The rest aren't that tough.

I'm not certain that I'm allowed to participate because I can't alt strum to save my life, so I normally downstrum. I also wasn't sure if we were supposed to do it all in one sitting, so I did that.

1. I Wanna Be Sedated: 281876, 99%, 345 streak (I wasn't paying attention and totally misused a star power)
2. Heart full of black: 217070, 97%, 267 streak
3. Ace of spades: 132295, 96%, 82 streak (I really suck at this song)
4. Higher Ground: 250245, 99%, 317 (very close to my top score, I haven't played it for a while because I didn't think I could beat my top score, oops)
5. No one knows: 270223, 94%, 273
6. Cowboys From Hell: 121329, 73%, 54 (I'm always horrible at this one the first time through - although my score normally isn't too much higher, this is a pretty pathetic % and streak)
7. Bark at the Moon: 177450, 79%, 111 (I would be so much better at this song if I didn't miss almost every time I activate star power)
8. The Breaking Wheel: 162362, 87%, 118 (I wish this one came last, my strumming finger was very sore after playing this only once...)
9. Cheat on the Church: 165681, 86%, 175
10. Get Ready to Rock: 177190, 87, 124

Total = 1955721 - not too bad, until you consider I normally downstrum all these songs...

You're going down Wulfe. I downstrum almost everything in the game save Breaking Wheel and the main riff of CFH. I'm going to have at it now, although I'm a little tipsy (5 beers). We will see...

used to only downstrum so i`ll give this a shot. . . hopefully i won`t get too used to it and let all the alt. strumming work i put in go down the drain
