I was bored so I just gave it a shot:

1) IWBS: 310,178; 100%; 725 NS (Used the wrong SP)

2) HFOB: 205,123; 93%; 268 NS

3) AoS: 149, 592; 95%; 102 NS (Always miss the second to last G for some reason)

4) HG: 191,073; 96%; Forgot to write down NS

5) NoK: 277,661; 97%; 185 NS (This could have been much better, I ususally down strum this anyway)

6): CfH: 238,146; 90%; 181 NS (HO/PO the intro but then sucking at that section in the chords)

7) BatM: 179,656; 84%; 115 NS

8) TBW: 125,605; 79%; 108 NS (LOL)

9) CoC: 175,677; 85%; 182

10) GR2R: 186, 726; 87%; 134 NS

Total Score= 2,039,437

Mr. Green

you honestly think if I didn't take my first score I would have had < 200K for Heart Full Of Black

The really tragic thing about that TbW score was that I missed the long star power before the break - had i hit that, I would've had a 5* downstrum TBW score. However, I will say that TBW was the only song where I just COULDN'T keep up that downstrum speed - almost immediately my arm became so sore that I was basically playing every second note of the fast parts - I'm as surprised as you are that i got such a high score (although FC'ing the chords at the end does help)

With regards to my CfH score, I don't have a vid camera, but it wasn't a particularly good run even (I've done it with only downstrumming once before, in which I achieved a 358K), so the best I can do is prove my CfH downstrum dominance at the tournament in Bloomington tomorrow - hopefully somebody there will have a vid camera, and I can get a vid posted. If not, at the very least I can persuade malictus to be an eyewitness to attest to the fact that I ain't a cheatin' bastard!!

Nice scores there, dspoonrt - had it not been for CfH, you would have kicked my ass

Yeah, he must HO the main riff in Cowboys. I maybe got it without HO's about 1 out of 8 times. The verses and the end saved me somewhat.

Yup - HO and PO are fine - incidentally, I do NOT HO the main riff for cowboys - I usually alt strum it, so I switched to downstrumming it - it's not really that tough to downstrum - I only started missing it a bit right near the end when my arm was getting tired...

Uh - I try to alt strum as much as possible, and obviously switch to alt strumming for fast pieces like Cowboys, BatM, and TBW, but I'm certainly a lot more accurate when I downstrum...

In fact, I've taken to downstrumming that fast part in YYZ (gggggygy), because I hit it 90% of the time when I downstrum, and only 20% of the time when I altstrum - I think really when I altstrum I tend to strum once too often, whereas downstrumming the "count" makes more sense to me..

So I guess I downstrum more than most, but not exclusively by any means!

Ok, so I have never done anything but downstrum so I will definitely get in on this....btw 5*ing TBW with downstrum is not impossible....268k is my best (i know, not impressive but surprisingly I can keep up with most of it). I'm not doin it tonight but soon, very soon, I will be on the boards.

I pretty much only downstrum, the only song that alt strumming really helps is the breaking whell. I almost died playing it only downstrum.

1) I Wanna Be Sedated - 311,906 - 100% - 725NS
(this is the only way I can play this song. I was a tad shy of my personal best though.)

2) Heart Full Of Black - 225,640 - 98% - 267NS
(I think I pulled something on the streak of death, ow)

3) Ace Of Spades - 185,084 - 97% - 272NS
(not too shabby)

4) Higher Ground - 233,105 - 98% - 232NS
(New personal record, feel the burn.)

5) No One Knows - 216,992 - 95% - 159NS
(could have done much better with a second try)

6) Cowboys From Hell - 113,572 - 83% - 52NS
(HOLY CRAP NEW HIGH SCORE! lol I suck at this song)

7) Bark At The Moon - 176,654 - 86% - 146NS
(I've broken 200K only downstrumming, but not this time.)

8) The Breaking Wheel - 161,433 - 89% - 73NS
(The pain...I think I just got stronger)

9) Cheat On The Church - 180,641 - 90% - 139NS
(Another new personal record, I'm on a roll)

10) Get Ready To Rock - 174,667 - 87% - 139NS
(4 new high scores thanks to this little game)

Grand Total = 1,979,694

I broke 4 of my old highscores, woot! I don't know how I compare to the pros, but I'm satisfied with that.
