|
|
Welcome all PS2 expert players. As usual, this is the week 1 thread. All expert players/divisions will be playing the same songs week 1 and you will be split in to respective divisions based on the following:
Week 1 performance
Submitted SH 80s scores
Submitted SH GH2 scores.
You will learn your league/division once week one is over and results are posted.
Roster
Please see the 1st post of the official signup roster to ensure you are there. If you posted BEFORE the last update, and do not see your name, notify me.
Songs
Week 1
Expert - The Warrior
Expert - Bathroom Wall
Expert - Wrathchild
Expert - Ballroom Blitz
All songs must be submitted by Saturday August 25th by Midnight EST (9PM PST). Note: This is 3 hours earlier than in previous seasons!
When submitting your scores, the following are now REQUIRED:
Score - Note Streak and %.
Failure to submit each of those field will result in a disqualified score!
DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR SCORES VIA PM!
This season, to facilitate score input, we will be using www.ghevents.net for score submissions. If you have an account from the sightread contest - great. If not please create one so you can input scores. Be sure to use the same username as your SH account - to avoid confusion. Any questions on score submissions - please don't hesitate to ask...we undertand this is new for everybody.
Where will results be posted? Results will be posted in a seperate thread in this forum after the deadline. We will not be using Wulfe's site to display results, only for collecting the scores.
Forum Conduct
For returning players, we will be running the same rules in the forum as season 5. For those of you who are new, we allow and encourage open discussion of songs. You can talk about the songs, ask for help, post about how you hate the song..whatever.
What you are NOT allowed to post, is hints on your scores. Do not post your current score, do not post a hint about your scores, do not even post if you full combo'd a song or got a specific percentage. Talk of this nature only serves to either fuel your competition, or discourage others. Everybody will know what everybody else got at the end of the week.
We also ask that you do not post league-obtained scores on SH for the week. If you do, it is all too easy for your competition to just look it up.
What about the song poll?
While we work out the kinks of wulfe's site, we will note have polls. Check back here later. We may or may not have polls this season depending on what wulfe can do. |

Login. Sign-up for "80s - PS2 - Expert - Week 1 only!" Then click on "Scores." Select the week from the drop-down (e.g., Week 1). Input your scores, then submit it. |

Heh, I like Ballroom Blitz but the solo gets me. Getting better at it though. Nice set to kick it all off with. The Warrior is nice, too. I haven't played the other two much... Better get to work! _________________

So, are we allowed to input scores as many times as we like into that new site or is still the same where we can only submit scores once? |

Its a good question and one we need clarification on from wulfe. For now, I'd refrain from putting in a score if you think you'll wanna update later. _________________
