ok JHetfield, ill try to explain this as best i as i can.

Get the first two, then use sometime in the chords.

In the next two, whammy all you want, then use it in the chords.

In the next ones, whammy everything until 1 beat before the first long GY chord, making sure not to get that star power.

in the next three (the solo one is required) you can whammy, but not too much so you can get the sp GY GY RY GY GY before the chorus again.

in the BY RY hold sp, whammy, then use in the midst of all those chords.

whammy the next 8 blue notes so you can get another half bar of sp, then use sometime at then end, i haven't taken the time to figure out when.

im not sure if this is the best, though, it got me 294k without getting the second solo.

I'll be nice and add mine. Mine gave me about 297K without the 2nd solo.

My Star Power Strategy

I'm sorry that it isn't drawn as well as maybe JCirri or Echelar, but it should get the point across. Simply activate SP at each blue line. Whammy everything.

Actually, reviewing ES's strategy, I'm not so sure mine is better. There are a few things about the way that the song is set up that we can't perfectly analyze the efficiency of the SP strategy without looking at 100%s. Since no one else has gotten 100%, we have nothing to compare mine to to know whether mine is efficient or not.

I was able to do it during the last chorus when that sequence pops up several times to get SP for the end, but I can't seem to get it during the second chorus, which doesn't make sense. Are you asking about the streams of long Blue notes that hold SP? You can't get an SP from just the 2nd one because it's 7 beats, but you can get an SP from the last one because it's 8 beats.

Oh duh. Well that explains that. I would've never figured that advanced math out on my own. Hahahaha

I'm still trying to put the whole package together. I can get the first solo with SP now, but can't do the second without the ability to do pulloffs. Thanks for the strategy though, it helped fix mine a little bit.

Maybe if red octane would get off their asses and make a left handed guitar so this game isn't so unfair, I would be able to get a decent score.

It's pretty much impossible to get to the whammy bar and back fast enough (during the blue notes) when you have to play left handed. Also the fucking thing does nothing but get in the way.

Droid: I'm left handed, but came into this game with experience playing a guitar right-handed... i'm extremely glad i don't have to try and play the controller left-handed for that exact reason.
